Delhi, June 5th 2025 – Located in the energetic setting of Delhi, India's cultural centre, Fresh Lime Studios serves as a landmark of creativity. The studio was started by Tanishq Seth —an accomplished songwriter, composer, and producer, sparked by his profound commitment to audio excellence. The state-of-the-art studio is much more than a recording space. It is a space where artistry meets precision, fuelled by Neumann’s advanced audio technology.

The name of the studio takes inspiration from the fruit, the lime. Just as a lime adds a burst of freshness to any setting, Fresh Lime Studios aims to infuse a similar vibrant, fresh energy into the world of sound and creativity. The studio is powered by Neumann KH monitors in a Dolby Atmos setup, delivering superior audio and precision. ​

Tanishq had a clear goal in mind – he wanted a space where he could elevate Indian culture through sound and music. The studio consists of four rooms – a live room for diverse productions, a Dolby Atmos music room for immersive mixing and two others. ​ This vision became a reality on November 30, 2024, when Fresh Lime Studios opened its doors. Over 50 music producers, local artists, studio owners, and audio engineers attended the opening event, and guests got to experience its array of Neumann studio monitors – the KH 120 II, KH 150 and KH 870 subwoofers, as well as the NDH 20 headphones.

Fresh Lime Studio is more than just a facility – it is driving an initiative to revolutionize and improve India’s audio landscape. The studio also hosts workshops and mentorship programmes to develop and educate future talent. Through its wide range of services in recording, mixing and mastering, Fresh Lime Studios has managed to bridge the gap between local and global standards, grounded on Neumann’s precision and reference-grade solutions.

The heart of the studio leverages the impeccable precision of Neumann's technology. From the DSP-equipped KH monitors in a 7.1.4 set-up, coupled with the KH 870 subwoofer, to a wide selection of Neumann and Sennheiser microphones, chosen specifically to suit each project's distinctive needs. Fresh Lime Studios exemplifies the extraordinary capabilities of a Dolby Atmos room, combined with reference-grade monitors and microphones from Neumann, to immerse audiences in a unique audio experience, whether in film or music.

The well-regarded Neumann U 87 Ai microphone is noted for its smooth and refined sound, making it the reference for speech and vocals. The Miniature Clip Mic System (MCM) is designed to capture the subtleties of acoustic instruments in live settings effectively, while offering practicality and durability. The Sennheiser MKH 418 S stereo shotgun microphone is a versatile piece of equipment suitable for film, radio, television, and reporting, known for its clarity and spatial representation. Last but not least, the MD 441 dynamic super-cardioid microphone combines sound quality similar to a condenser mic with balanced, precise, and distortion-free capture, even at the highest sound pressure levels.
